Really nice work! The blue is great, esp. the headstock, nice job on the through strings - that burst looks great too! Nice fix of the nut slot.

Pictures of the wiring will help us here.
Based on my stuff-up in another thread, I now recommend reading this description of how blade switches work. Understanding which terminals are connected in the different switch positions really helps demystify the wiring diagrams.
Pictures will definitely help. Do you have the standard 8-lug three-way switch? Or the ones that come stock in PBG kits? Differences between them can catch you out.
Shorting of the signal somewhere against the copper shielding is a common fault when you just get silence, especially with the narrow Tele control cavity.
Are you using the PNG pre-wired control plate or have you replaced all those components?
There are at least 3 ways to wire up a CRL/Oak Grigsby style three-way switch. Some of the 'import' style switches have less options.

Hey, do you think that phrase will catch on????![]()

The switch plate is what came with the PitBull kit.
I also have some shrink wrap tubing that I have bought that I will put over the contacts once it is all working.
Also, I put shielding tape in the jack cavity. I think this is where some contact could be happening as it is quite a tight fit. Should I remove the shielding?

It’s alive!
I think the problem was the jack was contacting the shielding. Fixed with a bit of desoldering and reconnecting wires to be inside to out, and some shrink wrap over the contacts.
Also the switch wiring need rejigging to be like the standard wiring diagram with the seven contact three position switch.
With the toneriders it sounds amazing. Got a nice warm fatness to the sound. I’ll try to post a recording.
