    Looking great!
Haha yeah, my gf will be laying down the custom artwork on the headstock and back of neck (poison ivy vines going along it) so she's in charge of finishing the neck.

Gonna let it all cure for a week before i can go at it again.

Saturday is finally upon us more buffing/staining/sanding fun ahead of me today

Question can i use aluminumbtape to shield the cavities? Copper tape is pretty spensive and i can get my hands on aluminum tape for free at work.

Yes, you can use Aluminium Tape for shielding, although you cannot solder to it like you can to copper, the way around that is to use a small woodscrew with a washer to attach the bared end of the ground wire to it.

I wasn't even aware the tape needs to be grounded

when you put in the pots, their bodies will act as grounds where they contact the shielding, as long as they are wired properly.
i think adding a ground wire would be a precaution as opposed to a necessity, correct me please someone if i am wrong...

The pots in the LP kits are usually all 500k Logs, not sure about the caps, they could be 22nF, or 47nF.

usually .022 for 500k pots, but there are no rules that say you cant use .047

Ty Stan, Doc will be getting a hot rodded seymour duncan set they recommend 500k/47nF for those pups.

Just added another layer to the top and neck.
