Thats a decent temperature mate, like Brisbane in peak summer.

You should be able to get a satin finish from Truoil without mixing it with a thinner. just lightly sand it back to a satin finish and don't polish it. I think Pablopepper truoils his neck and sands to a satin finish.

    UPdate..
Ricci bass has been cured very well, then i wipped 3 or 4 coats of birchwood wax that gived some protection and smooth feeling...Just what i was looking for. Totally recomended for matt/satin finish lovers.
Once i had installed all the hardware, and check some little high action at 12 fret from the 4th string, I decided to carve 2mm more the bridge room, but some scratches and a little dent from the dremel makes me think about refinish the top again .
So back to dye with india ink, and TO. 6 coats at the moment, hope to finish this week.

GAS data: The bass sounds killer!! and with all the hardware on is.... just........

Well, yesterday i finally give some touches adding a center mahogany veneer (dremel out before) and do some relic work to the top.
Applied 4 coats of wax and this is what we have at the moment...

At least the action its pretty good, some little fret buzzing corrected with a twist of the rod. Its ok for me. Lets see what happens until its finally cured, and new strings come up. I need to finish the truss rod cover too.

    More pics will come nearly.

Thanks Stan, glad you like it.

Yesterday i fix some bleeding from pot volumes when they were turn off, and finally i found it was the hot soldering to jack (i thought it was maybe a bad grounding or disfunctional pot but).. Now, its perfect..sounds pretty much a rickenbacker (as its carrying the rick puppies) even connected to the soundcard of my pc, without any effect, only a minimum compression from the pedalboard.
