Since where both doing the same guitar it's interesting the different look of the grain, ive done an ebony timbermate grain fill , youve done a black stain. They both look great but 2 different ways on the same timber
True! I imagine the timbermate fills the tiny valleys in the grain, whereas the stain is absorbed into the less dense parts of the grain, ultimately darkening different characteristics in the timber.Originally Posted by Adam Barnes
