    More apply a coat, wait, apply a coat, wait, sand with wet and dry, apply a coat, wait, apply a coat, wait, sand with wet and dry, apply a coat, wait, apply a coat, wait, sand with wet and dry, apply another coat, very fine steel wool, apply another coat. It's getting closer to being good enough.



    I've also cut out a stencil to paint a logo on the headstock.

    Since where both doing the same guitar it's interesting the different look of the grain, ive done an ebony timbermate grain fill , youve done a black stain. They both look great but 2 different ways on the same timber

    True! I imagine the timbermate fills the tiny valleys in the grain, whereas the stain is absorbed into the less dense parts of the grain, ultimately darkening different characteristics in the timber.
