Thanks Gav, I'm stoked! I checked the setting this morning and the crack in the bone doesn't seem to be an issue at all *winning*!!

Not gonna lie, first time I put a nut blank on the belt sander I gagged a little. Haha. Smells like burnt hair.

Hi ShazzRandom, the guitar you're building looks great, can't wait to see it finished, I've got at least 5 or so guitar kits on my "to buy" list, but I'll have to wait till the weather in Darwin dries up before I do any building.

    Keep the videos coming...cheers.

    Hey all,
So after a few days of letting the stain dry, I have noticed that the 2nd batch of DT is slightly different in colour, which can be expected for a hand mixed product. I thought after curing that the colour would be close to matching but it currently isn't.
(I will attach 2 photos, 1 showing the back and the walls and another with the face when I can work it out from my iPad or may have to wait till I'm home). Can anyone suggest a way I could try and match them closer. The back is much deeper, more purple-y, so thinking possibly sanding back a bit (not too heavily) to see if I can get it to matching point. As I haven't done the intensifying costs yet, once I get the base stain the same colour it should all be a go from there, it's just matching the base station this point.
Any pointers or ideas would be great
    Cheers

The pics are pretty true to colour. The difference is rather noticeable compared to front and back.
