Nice one. Not that I'm in any position to give advice, but get some pine sheets wit a bit of grain going on and get a feel of the torch. My first few attempts were god aweful.
Are you sticking with the white hardware? In my mind I'm trying to visualise it with different colour pickguards - white, black, tortoise-shell - but my brain's not clever enough to cope.

Yeah mate sticking to white for now anyway. It may change. When I get home I'll snap a few photos of the body with the white guard in place.
I think a tort pickguard would look killer on this. Shaping up very nicely.

Yeah man if the white looks odd a red tort guard and trem cover will be ordered post haste. Got the pups ordered for this and the Tele, a string through bridge and ferules for the Tele also. It's like Christmas but better.
