    The Paua shell is glued onto the MOP. Wanted a more 3d effect, sort of like a Cameo.

    There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

    nice one DB, the right side of the pau shell looks like a leaf folded over it sort of does have a 3D effect
    Current Builds and status
    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    hey Maddog its just the moderators playing jokes on Pest and myself. We keep joking about Gav didn't win a GOTM about 2 years ago because he was waiting for a custom truss rod cover and he didn't have one on the build hahah
