I did get my head stock decal on - based on the recipients last name for a bit of fun.

Also decided to start putting my own makers mark on as well.

Sick! I love the Headstock Branding!

Cheers guys, they are now sealed over and a fresh topcoat on the body. Fingers crossed that's the end of the black painting. I'll sand back over the decals and reseal to hide the edges, the poly is actually really good for that.

Are you using a rattle can Poly or a wipe on version for this?

Just Cabot’s exterior gloss in a rattle can. It’s a good product. Different to acrylic, but you can get a really nice even finish without polishing if you do two or three applications and wet sand to 1500 in between. It flattens our really nicely as it drys.

Good to know. Might have to give that run on a couple of projects and see how it goes. The rust oleum was so so but came up okay on the korean deluxe, but it neve hurts to different stuff.

Yes that's the stuff I have used on most of my projects. It dries very hard and is extremely scratch resistant, but is harder to polish with auto cutting compounds and so on if you get bits in it, which can happen as it stays tacky for hours
