    Progress albeit slowly.
Waiting for the final intensifying coat to dry. Mostly dry, just a little tacky still.
Hoping to get on with the final coat application this week or weekend.

Thanks Bud! Dingotone Nullarbor Ochre is the finish I'm using. How's your builds coming along?

Dingotone neck finish applied 3rd coat so far. Coming up well. Seems to be easier to work with than the 3 part process. This coat is now starting to make it look glossy all over the neck. Still a few patchy spots, but will wait till all dry to make judgement. Went up to the sides of the fretboard too, which looks and feels great.

Body is still a tiny bit tacky to start applying finish coat yet. Mrs is away at the moment which is why they've moved inside with a fan a blowing on them to try and accelerate the process.

Just sizing up the pup mounting rings for correct orientation. Before I scrape the binding again for the final time.

I see you bought a new bridge. Looks like it might be the same one I bought off eBay. How's the pickup rings on your kit?

For mine the rings don't sit very well, particularly the neck ring. Swapping the rings actually made them sit better. Not sure if I should bend them when I screw them on or try and modify the arch to better fit.

The bridge ring sits perfectly and you're right, the neck ring will need to be bent a little to make a snug fit. I may play with the arch a little on the bridge side, but I think it will look fine once the neck is installed. Will most likely need to raise the pup a fair bit out of the ring tho, we will see when strings are on and the action is sorted out.

Yep, I got the musiclily adjustable wrap around bridge. I wanted single string adjustment instead of the pre-intonated one from the kit. It's nice and chunky and looks pretty smart I rekon.

Was also toying up with a string thru idea and this bridge could have potentially been used for that. I don't think I will on this build tho anymore.
