Yesterday the Neck was put on.
Today I have been busy:
Bridge and tail stop inserts added. Wiring (standard LP style) is done and fitted. The pickups (upgraded to Tonerider Birminghams) are fitted. The cavity covers are fitted. Added Grover locking machine heads. Strap buttons on.
Strings are on and rough tuned. I will leave it sit a few days before final setup.

Truss rod cover, made out of 3ply pickguard material, created and fitted. I'm not sure if, down the line, I will put a LP vinyl decal on this or not.

String intonation is done - set heights at 12th fret, filed the nut slots for a low action, adjusted the string lengths. All seems good.
Only real problem was that my nut files go down to 0.010", but I'm using medium strings going down to 11. Hopefully the slots will wear to the slightly thicker strings.

Just to finish this off. My original inspiration was this photo which appeared on this forum in 2020 (I cannot remember who posted it!). As soon as I saw it, I decided I needed to have something similar.
