You did well with that shipment. I ordered a part from the US that, after 2 months, had gone from Arkansas to Illinois via Canada. Another 3 weeks go by and I've just discovered it's been returned to sender because it couldn't be delivered. Not just Aus Post that's struggling by the look of things.

With all the buzz words that have popped up the last decade or so, I'm still struggling to see the "logic" in "logistics"!

I once had a package coming from Sydney destined for QLD, but apparently it needed to go to Melbourne before going back to Sydney and then on to QLD.

FWIW, I'm not really bagging Aus Post. 98% of the time, I'm surprised how quickly things arrive especially over the last two years.
However they still have their moments!

Generally speaking, Australia Post still does a pretty good job most of the time. Odd exception at the moment is wine. Any wine we have delivered is taking an eternity. Most other things are ok. Certainly any delays in international shipping are not the fault of AusPost.
