Here's a slightly better shot of it.

I did sell off another guitar to a friend before I got this, so I've still only got 23 guitars and basses, not counting the three unfinished PBG kits (one of which is still on its way to the UK after various delays).

Nice looking guitar, I like the neck pickup against the pick guard, looks neat.

Its always easier to ask for forgiveness than permission After living with a car nut for 18 years, I think my missus is much happier with the guitar outlays. Apparently I swear a lot less when working on them as well.

I agree with ditching the fretboard inlays for plain black

It's now fully set up. Low action, Tele twang. It is a good one.

It's a shame it's got two string retainers (doesn't need it) and given the 5-screw scratchplate, vintage tuners would have been a better look (and I prefer split post tuners on Fenders), so I may do some headstock alterations if/when I change the dots.

I put the picture up on my Facebook profile and the wife said, "It's a shame you've shown it propped up against that dirty old amp", to which I immediately replied "So you'd like me to get a new one would you!". How we laughed! But she still said 'no!'.

I did get a 'new' used amp in November (Laney Ironheart 30 1x12" combo). It's not the number of guitars and amps, it's the storage. I either need a bigger house or I'll need to ditch the recording set-up. And I don't want to do that and I can't afford a bigger house without moving to a much more rural location and away from the south-east of England and my friends.
