I'd do it in a "natural" colour. Something like Amber, Mahogany, Honey or even Dark Tease.

what about a thin coat of dark tease then sand it back to enhance the grain then honey to make it pop?
Oh Bugger! I mis read the note... I thought it said you wanted Conch Girl and a Fretless neck.......Quote from Gavin1393 on June 7, 2013, 12:58
I haven't pulled the neck out yet to have a look at the headstock....I'm a little nervous about what I might discover.....after having given special instructions on my order form!

Yeah! I have to do it justice! Not sure what though!
But seriously, that is gorgeous. Ain't wood beautiful?

Hmmmm. I would do mahogany for that there Gav!!!
You forget that this thread is to prove that Wudtone is a superior finish....how do I answer the cynics if I haven't used tru-oil on one of the guitars.....what am I saying? Why would I ruin a perfectly decent guitar??? I'll be back in 20 mins, can I take a book.....Quote from dingobass on June 10, 2013, 20:05
Tru Oil????? Wash your mouth out with soap and go sit in the corner for twenty minutes!![]()

Musta missed something - what's the issue with Tru Oil? Was honestly wondering if Tru Oil and Wudtone could be used on the same guitar (i.e., BMW to get the colour, Tru Oil to get the shine). I understand that it's designed for guns and not guitars as opposed to Wudtone (the opposite), however it's not a plastic...
