Waz, I thought this was a Rick at first but it isn't. He seems to have the market cornered on bass/guitar doubles (guitarist from the band Boris)

Looks like a double SG on the left and a double headless Cort or similar on the right, whilst in the middle you correctly spotted a Riccy copy and the volume & control pots are wrong and also looks like a split P Bass type PUP up front too. Geddy Lee & Alex Lifeson from Canadian Band RUSH used double neckers quite a bit and I also found an example of a SG Bass/Guitar double.

Edit, love how yours is coming along and can't wait to hear the sweet sounds it should produce.

No worries Waz, all good double neck goodness. I've lost count on how many thread jacks I've been a part of. Always seems to happen to Doc though.....

BTW, the other day I wet sanded 2000 grit and applied another DT final coat.

How many more coats before your reckon it should be finished? Looks pretty good in that last shot.

According to DB you don't need many. But I probably prefer it to be a bit thicker before trying to gloss. The thin coats seems to be drying quite well.

The lesson I learn't with my tele is that I lay it on bubble wrap after 7 days after laying the last final coat and waiting for the 21 days....I got a heap of bubble wrap ghost markings on it. Had to sand them out and start again. Also it really wasn't as had as I would have liked it before polishing...my guess is that it should have been a bit longer before it had fully cured.

I left all mine hanging up to dry and cure, like a salami I suppose. Only time they were laid flat was the sanding between coats and then the final sanding through to polishing.

No pressure mate, just the level of expectation that will weigh heavy upon you whenever you bring this axe out to play. I still haven't mastered playing this song yet but will get around to it one day.

Hi Andy, just saw these come in on a newsletter I get from Artist Guitars. They sound awesome and probably a better buy compared to the Entwistle Darkstars I put in my son's strat and come with 4 wire too.
