Looking good. I have seen strap buttons drilled through the neck plate before but between both necks should give it more balance however as the top one being slightly longer and heavier it will want to make everything point south.

I thought so too, however, one draw back I think (wherever the strap lock) is that the sheer weight of 18 tuners outweigh the whole guitar.Originally Posted by wazkelly

You can also use one of the neck plate screws for the strap button
