    Yeah, bummer alright. Looks like shrinkage where it has cracked?

    Hopefully the trusty super glue saves the day. Good to hear you have a spare available as a backup.

    So coming up on just over two and a half years and I think am ready to have another go. ( still a bit peed off)

    Previous inlay and the fretboard pieces weren't recoverable so new plan.

    Will use some zpoxy to fill around the optic fibre once I get it back in the right spot to give a good base then insert the replacement inlay and either inset some small ebony pieces or just black epoxy.

    Also some of my frets have popped which indicates they weren't bent enough when fitted so some will have to be replaced.

    If all else fails will have to either strip the fret board or make a new neck
