Thanks woks. Yeah, the sun is down now, snagged these pics in the last bit of available light. The primer I used was really dark grey, I spent a day or so considering just going with that.

yeah ok nice one Pabs, looks like you got the bridge/string holes cleared of paint. Good tips on the Guitar builders resource with toothpicks, rolly filters or reverse drill bit to remove the paint from the holes

Once you get a lick of paint on there you really see how well you nailed those contours, looks amazing. Those string through holes don't look so bad they just look like they're staggered in 2 groups, once you get the ferrules in there it should look sweet. Nice job.

Yeah man, and how. First coat of primer really showed everything, there's still a wobble in the belly cut but I'll live with it. Figured out the ferrules too. I think the base of the drill press is a degree or two out of square. Three drilled from one direction, then I spun the body 180° to drill the other three.

ah Pablo that would explain the ferrule holes. As Barge says once they are in it will look fine.

Wow.. And here I was thinking the ferrule holes were drilled that way deliberatly!
    It looks really cool.

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....
