Update:
I have just applied two coats of the Dingotone Colourless Finish stain coat to my Strat neck after sanding it to 220 grit, seems to be looking pretty good so far, I might apply two more coats before I hang the neck up to dry so that I can then apply the final coat, the grain is looking pretty good so far, the Dingotone Colourless Finish has a real nice Citrusy smell to it.
The Neck has now got 4 coats of the colourless stain on it and I'm happy with it so it just needs to dry so that the final coat can be applied, which will be at about the same time tomorrow.

I reckon so too, it seems to have taken on an iridescent quality, it'll be interesting to see what it's like with the final coat applied.
