For sure, I've always been drawn to activities where I create things with my own hands, whether it's making a pedal, or making a plastic model aeroplane, etc, there's something cathartic about making something that I think the younger generation of kids are missing out on nowadays, a lot of young kids in Darwin get themselves into trouble with the Law, I think half the problem is that they get bored easily cause they don't get interested in taking up a hobby, I feel fortunate that I got into playing music in my early 20's cause music has been like a psychologist to me.

    Update:

Just got a phone call from my mate, he called to let me know that he's found my missing cat, apparently the cat had been hiding behind my mate's microwave oven, anyway I'm glad to hear that the cat is safe and all is well.

My mate is going to be coming back into town with the cat later on today.

His name is Gengle, I named him that after one of the characters in one of my Legend Of Zelda games (Twilight Princess), in the game one of the characters is a cat that belongs to another character called Jovani,Jovani's cat is called Gengle, my cat looks a bit like Jovani's cat and I thought it was a cool name, so I named my cat after him, he's pretty friendly.

I have another cat who is Gengle's sister, her name is Holly, she's a bit of a ratbag but can be friendly when she wants to be.

Maybe I might post a pic of my two cats in the Naughty Warehouse once Gengle returns home.

sounds good Doc, think you have had Gengle or Holly in the background of some past photos, probably in this thread or maybe the Chibson thread

    Thats good news Doc
Sounds like Holly is like our resident psychopath feline... One minute she is loving you and the next she tries to asassinate you.
    Gotta love cats............

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

Lol, that is so apt, the thing about Holly is that she'll be settled on my lap and purring away and then she'll decide to play-bite my hand, but she'll keep purring away.

Gengle is safely back home now.

It was actually in this thread a few pages back where I was in the process of shaping the headstock with my 8mm Rat-Tail file, that's Gengle sitting next to my 42inch Plasma Screen TV.

Won't be too long now till I go to the Post Office to pick up my Dingotone kits.....WooHoo!!

Yhep... I recently read an article by a feline behavioural researcher and it was saying that the play bites, attempted asassinations and kneading are all a cats way of telling you they love you....
The head butting, rubbing against your legs and purring I get, but the physical violence???
Strange but fascinating creatures are cats....
I reckon they can see dead people too... Ours will be intently staring at nothing, then suddenly have a classic cat hissy fit and get bent all out of shape.. I can only think she sees ghosts or something.

The Kneading-behavior actually harks back to when the cats were kittens feeding on milk from their mother, apparently kittens and cats purr to let each other know that everything is alright, another way a cat tells you that they love you is when they do a slow blink, next time your cat is in a friendly mood notice how the cat holds it's tail because cats also communicate by body-language, a happy cat will hold it's tail upright and it's ears upright, a scared or angry cat will hold it's tail tucked-up against it's body, plus it's ears will be folded back.

Cats can probably see things we can't, they have good night-vision but their colour-vision isn't as good as ours, and apparently cats are a lot smarter than we think they are.
