Gonna re-try the walnut pickup ring. If I could get it thinner than I had it before, it may look better than a lightswitch coverplate! Lol...

Well.... I just spent about an hour playing Kilmister One!! I was having a hum issue, then traced my wiring only to find my jack wires reversed.. duh... fixed that, a final trussrod adjustment, tuning, recheck intonation...and jammed away! I may have to tweak the action down a tad, but It feels pretty darned good! There are still some finishing touches too.. TRC, pup ring, etc.. Ill be bringing it to the studio on Thurs, so Ill try to get some sound clips while were there... I've re-learned a lot of things on this build, and learned some new things that Ill take with me onto the next.. This is an awesome forum! Thanks for your comments and support!

looks awesome Davey, look forward to a sound demo.
Looks like you got a cool axe collection, is that a real Gibbo FV and a Dimebag Dean ?

The Dime is a Washburn.. he played them after Dean..He may have gone back and forth too.. not exactly sure... its a 332, in "Girl-o-flage". It's the only one I've seen in that finish... I just got it from a friend of mine for not a lot of money...lol. The laminate was peeling on the headstock, and it needed some tlc, but it plays really nice now. The Vee is not a real Gibson. I got it from some kid who tried to tell me it was.. Im not stupid and I know guitars. It had no electronics, but its a set-neck, solid mahogany body and is a really, REALLY nice copy. I made the kid feel really dumb, then gave him less than $100 (US) for it. I put in some EMG pickups, and the thing screams! Im getting ready to put a flametop on the wings, with the center strip left mahogany... I built the wall rack to save space and have it look really cool... lol.. there are also a few that are on stands.. not in the pic...

My favorite shape, and a guitar Ive liked for a long time, is the BC Rich Mockingbird... seems to me that I saw a kit that resembles it very closely.. mightve been that Aussie company.. is it "bulldog guitars"? Or "pitstop guitars"? Lol... might be my next guitar related purchase..

Looks good and in keeping with the already organic appearance you have been creating.
