Hey ShazzRandom, whatever you do, don't get discouraged by the problems with the wiring, keep persevering and you'll eventually have a win mate.

Yeah I'm all good about it I wasn't expecting to get t right the first time. But upgrading wiring and pots should hopefully help

Good tip on the wax... I now remember being told of an old retired builder who used to rub his nails (not finger...) through his Brylcreemed hair before he hammered them into hardwood joists and bearers.

When I read that it sounded vomit worthy haha but it makes sense

Jaycar Electronics sells packs of multi-coloured stranded hookup wire that's handy for guitar builds, I use it in my fx pedal builds too.

Heya wokka, nah American order for the wires. Yes 500k, I got all B500k that will still work yeah?! O_O

Is it much the same as the wires that come with the kits? Just the plastic coated wire?

Shaz i use 22AWG Gavitt Cloth covered Pre tinned 7 strand push back wire on everything except long runs, for those i use 22AWG Braided shield push back wire and heat shrink them.
