    Quite possibly Woks

I do like clean guitar sounds and as someone moving over from bass the amount of effort it takes to get bent double & triple stops to work properly.

A potted history of what I have played over the years in progressive steps since 1964
    Shadows / Ventures instrumental
    Beatles / Stones
    Hendrix / Cream
    Sabbath / Deep Purple
King Crimson and similar prog stuff
Symphonic rock - Gentle Giant / Yes
    ______________________
    1973
    Country - Cash / Owens / Haggard
Country & Rock - Eagles / Haggard + every thing from Bill Haley to Grand Funk Railroad
Country & Rock - Eagles / Pure Prairie League / Ozark Mountain Daredevils + 56 style rock & Beach Boys

From 64 - 73 I was lucky to do a paying show per month but did do a bit of session work 1970 - 72
From 1973 - 81 with the switch to country played paying gigs on average of 5 nights a week and often more.

Where has the live music scene gone to in Sydney
