    cool nice explanation DB, I had no idea how a headless bridge and nut retainer worked.

    how much fun was it cutting the headstock off ?

    I still need therapy for cutting the neck in half for your clock hahah

    nice one DB, is that karijini red or uluru red ? I didn't initially notice the carve for the overlord tuning knobs.

    @ Woks. A new colour I am testing. This colour was a custom order, customer was looking for a Rosewood shade and I reckon I pretty well nailed it..

    @BassGuy. There should be a few new prototypes requiring your expert critique, o Maestro

    DB looks great but in the photo looks like a cross between uluru and karijini, needs more brown for rosewood. Maybe it looks browner in the flesh
    Also worried the neck in the pic looks wide enough for a 3 stringer haha

    Good quality Indian Rosewood is more of a red/purple colour.
    The Rosewood fretboards on PBG necks are most probabably plantation timber.
    Takes a good few years for the tree to mature and colour up so most readily available Rosewood is more of a brown/ red shade.

    fair enough DB, I google imaged rosewood colour and got a fair variation in colour.
    Should look sweet with the rosewood neck.
    Not good looks like Aussies will lose the first ODI against the Kiwis ! (holds head in shame haha)
