    Acrylic clear is great for that really shiny finish. It looks fantastic, well done!

    Hi all first of all happy new year.
    Now this might shock some of you, provably some might yell out Don't do it!!
    Here is the next step..
    I now up to gluing the neck, I will post what I think will give me the peace of mind..
    The down side of this is now that this glue is not water soluble, must use mineral turps.. (Hmm don't like the idea the afterwards cleaning on the acrylic finish)..
    I bought Dingo Tone recommended glue and it should do nicely..
    Checked the neck and it's a very tight fitting, no loose movements on the neck so that means I might not need to fit the Bigsby or the bridge, can anyone give me any idea please.
    Now here is the glue I had in mind to use..Click image for larger version.

    Hi Caesar, to glue the neck use Dingobass's supplied glue, it should be Titebond and is really the best glue to use to set a neck. Don't use the maxi nails.
    Although you say there is no movement in the neck pocket it is still worth fitting the bridge/Bigsby and both E strings for peace of mind that the string/fingerboard offsets are even for both strings.
    Once the neck is glued and if it's a tight fit it is a big job to remove the neck

    Hi Wokkaboy;
    Thanks for that and I will do as you advised, as soon done I will place some pics and possibly me playing some good Rockabilly tunes from my new album... (Or maybe I'll wait a bit longer lol).
    While I'm here, Does anyone know or recommend anyone the hard case for this guitar?

    Hi Caesar, the neck will need some playing in and the guitar setup before it will sound ok and stay in tune.
    PBG have an extra large case but doubt it's deep enough for a GR-1SF.
    Maybe you can search for other forumites who have built this model and PM them to ask if and where they got a case for it.
    You could email Adam and ask if there are a deeper case available. DB built him a GR-1SF so he could test out if the depth was enough.
    I haven't built a guitar that deep so not sure where else to look, maybe ebay or a local music store

    Living in USA suggest you try Amazon as that is where I had to get my EX-5 Gig Bag from as I could find nothing else available in Oz or that a USA supplier would ship. Found a Dean case that would have done the job but they would only ship within USA. Best to check all measurements such as overall length, depth & width and look out for all the weird measurements where they mention upper bout an lower bout measurements????? You could always check on eBay or Gretsch website to see if there is just a case to fit a Silver Falcon up for sale. Good luck and happy hunting.

    Thanks everyone;
    Well about to set up the Bigsby, I noticed after I opened the sealed bag 1 chrome screw missing for the backing plate, now that's annoying, well while I was at it, the screws that holds the pick up cover, 4 on each pick ups also missing, I didn't check them when the kit arrived, so can anyone tell me where can I get those screws from, I just checked Bunings and no way, they'll just spoil the whole thing, they don't carry those in chrome, might check Jaycar tomorrow but might be wasting my time..
    Thanks for the previous comeback too.
    Thanks everyone..
