    Pretty happy with my headstock.

Quickly whipped up a table mount for my jigsaw and it made cutting out the headstock much easier.

nice one Ben looks like you cut nice and close to the line. Make sure that jigsaw is securely fixed, won't be much fun with missing toes xmas lunch !

a file and some sanding will clean up the headstock nicely

Bought myself a Christmas present (besides the guitar kit)

Should help with my string through holes.

Hi Ben, I'd use a fairly fine file, not a harsh rasp as they rip off too much material. A flat one for straighter sections and a round one for curved areas.
A file isn't a must, you could start on 40 grit paper and work up to about 320 grit. If you wrap the sandpaper around a round object is good for the curved sections.

Good luck with the string through, I'd have a practice on some 40mm thick scrap wood, it's quite hard to get the holes lined up and equally spaced, but your drill guide should help

good stuff Ben, an ash tray style bridge, that will look hot.
I'd put the kit bridge pup in and do a mock build and please post distance nut to centre of 12th fret and centre of 12th fret to both E saddles.
Worth checking if you need to route the bridge pup cavity further north
I love the service at Realtone too, if I order morning on a weekday usually receive the parcel 2 days later to Perth if using express post !
