ah ok no worries Shazz I forgot these bodies are wide enough to get your hand inside, only semi hollow body I've built is an ES-1G and you would barely get a baby's hand inside the neck pocket

Yeah I have fairly big woman hands haha so it's tight but I can just get it in haha

So I'm going to be wax potting my pickups. After my husbands issues with his guitar I'm taking as many measures as possible to insulate and 'sound proof' my guitar.
Has anyone else done this? I've youtubed taught myself haha I will film it so you all can see how I do it

I haven't even heard of this until a few days ago! I used braided wire on my ES-12G, but also used GFS pickups, instead of the ones supplied in the kit. I don't get any hum/noise except when I hit the strings.

But, it would be fun to try a new skill! How many people can say, "Hey, I just wax potted my pickups!"
