that's right I forgot you had to cover up the plugged tuner holes.

I'd been tossing up the idea of doing either a gloss black or colour matched headstock to cover where I re drilled the tuner holes but couldn't really get on board because I'm a fan of the simple looking 'classic' headstocks so I went with the maple veneer.
I shot a coat of clear polyurethane all over the neck this morning to keep it looking simple and classy.
Great job with the headstock and veneer & love the photos.
