Thanks Gav! I'm excited, I got a black roller bridge so that with the black pick guard and the chrome everywhere else should look awesome! Thinking of a name and will most likely do it in black on the headstock.

I think I've decided on what is going on my headstock. This is Guitar in Japanese. I love Japan, and all their awesome things. I have not been there yet. But it is on the list to visit in 2017! Mine and my husbands first big holiday will be there I will most likely get black vinyl or something of the sort and use a laser cutter.

you can give it a coat of wax.
It will involve a lot of elbow grease though

I would let the finish cure for at eat a week before starting on the wax though.

Wax has been purchased my arms haven't been in use for a few days so the burn will be good

Hi Shazzrandom, the guitar should look cool with the Japanese script, or Kanji, on the headstock, I've always liked how the Japanese people developed their system of writing, they are lovely people, my older brother got married to a Chinese lady a few years ago, he went over to China to meet her parents, and he brought her back to Australia, the last time I talked to my mum on the phone she told me that she had met my older brother's wife and told me that she was gorgeous looking, my older brother has said to me that his wife is keen to meet me, she is currently doing some studying at an Australian Uni to improve her English.

I know the Japanese culture has absolutely nothing to do with this guitar or style at all, but it's just totally different! I reckon it would look good!
