    I figured, maybe i should prefer another wood for body under shellac finish. Basswood is too simple and shellac is crying to get some more veins. But I think I'll keep in mind to prefer a different wood for future builds.

    Looking good. I liked the original yellow colour as it really highlighted the grain however what you have now looks like red coloured glass with just a hint of grain. Slow progress has paid off in a brilliant finish.
