I'm applying the 20th french polish layer now. Because I had done a lot of mistakes in the early phases. I didn't noticed them since the french polishing.

The Strat is looking great so far, can't wait to see it finished.
The colour is looking amazing. Never knew you could add dye to Shellac, until now! Might be something to try on a future build.

Thanks Gavin. It was also very interesting for me. Perhaps I should take a few photos of my trials to get an appliable color. All my effort was to keep the ingredients minimum and affordable nearby. I didn't want to order them abroad. I'm sure there are lots of ways (and most of them are preferably-easy-to-do I guess) to finish a guitar. But this way is way too challenging and enjoyable.
