Just had a thought that some dark red highlights could work on or around the edges of the scoops. Not sure how that will work with using DT to stain the rest of it. Time to experiment on some pine.

Hey JT yes that could work. I've seen scoops of PRS builds done in another colour could work too. My personal preference would be red scoops would look super cool

now that would look good sarge, maybe some red on the headstock to balance it too?

pick guard has been roughly shaped. Tidy up and beveling required.

shape looks good Sarge. Where you can try and match the shape of the scoop and body bevels/curves and keep the same offset to the pickguard.
Should look very cool once cleaned up
