Thanks Fellas.. Looks like the clamps will make a early appearance..
@ Moose I take my photos with iPhone with a square crop then email to myself
at "medium" setting and they upload no probs.

Great work Damo. The stains looks really vibrant! I will reference your wiring for my ESB 4SC.

I've just finished the third intensifying coat.. Loving the colour. It has deepened so much with each coat.
The small crack in the neck that I was worried about earlier has disappeared after the neck dried from previous coats.
Maybe some slight expansion from being wet then settled again after drying.. Anyway I'm going on holiday for a week so the guitar will get a nice amount of hanging time before I come back for top coats and finishing.Click image for larger version.

wow Damo that colour is awesome, really getting some nice depth and I keep forgetting how nice a colour uluru red is. You know in the preview of the first 2 photo's it looks like one photo, not two - well done ! Except looks like the brickie was on the sauce before knock off time hahha

Thanks Wokka! I'm loving the colour. Each new application ties in the previous coat and makes the colour pop even more..
Definitely worth the wait in between coats. Hanging to play this bad boy!
One question though: what do I build next? ES3 or ES1GT with a black to outback sunset burst?
    Damn I got da GAS!

Damo, that's the question of everyone with GAS what kit to build next !
So you going to build a guitar next ? sounds like you are a big fan of semi hollow body axes

Yeah I dig the hollow goodness. My main axe is a G&L ASAT which is a semi hollow Tele so that's where it began but I needed a bass for writing and a mate lent me his Jack Cassidy epiphone (then took it back) which is what inspired the current ESB4 build. But I definitely want to build a 6er next.. Decisions decisions!
