more progress on this build, Pablo cut me a vinyl record pickguard and control cover, they arrived in the mail Thursday. So this is a mock build. Got about 5 coats of naughty oil on. I thought I would get away with some cracks in the veneer and parts have lifted since clear coats went on. Oh well next time I'll sand it off and glue another veneer on

How many records were broken in the making of it?![]()
Hi Swanny, as far as I know Pablo didn't break any records (pun not intended haha) he has a laser cutter at work.
He also cut me a gold mirror guard and control plate for another tele project I'm working on a gold tele, stay tuned !
It's a James Taylor record and I like the colours on the label. I can always print another record label and glue it on
@ Pabs FYI your neck recesses in the pickguard need to be about 1mm wider. Otherwise they are spot on, cheers mate
