    Bit of an update. Have made a wooden copy of the plastic template pablo sent me recently. I didn't have any double sided tape so i used a trick I saw on Crimson guitars where Ben puts masking tape down then uses super glue to smear on the two opposing pieces. This worked really well and I was able to easily remove the templates from each other without any glue getting on them.

    I then set about routing the bridge pickup and control panel slightly larger to fit the cts pots and tonerider pups I plan to use.

    Following this I also wet sanded the body down removing most of the orange peel with 600 grit then moving up gradually to 2000. I then used turtle wax scratch remover and maguiers polish to get a nice shine up.

    Oh, so you found that you did need to enlarge the pickup routes for toneriders? Good to know.
