Ok. Tuners changed. I ended up with Gotoh SG381's as they had the same screw hole fixing tag at 45 degree. These tuners feel nice and solid. Same style as on my 'goldie' Tele - they never go out of tune

Also changed the bridge for a Gotoh 103B-T. Bridge is nice and wide so loads of room for intonation. The body posts were a bit loose so used the stock kit ones. The Gotoh height adjustment posts screw in perfectly and the bridge otherwise is a perfect drop in replacement. I forgot to order a new matching tailpiece, that will happen later.. when I next change the strings...

Note the difference in colour between kit supplied gold tailpiece and the gotoh bridge, looks almost silver in comparison!

    Now to intonate.

That looks very nice...great job. Was wondering why you mixed the gold bridge and tuners with the silver tail...

Cheers Woks. The difference in volume playing this acoustically after upgrades is incredible, I would say a 1/3 louder.

nice one Ponch that is a huge improvement acoustically so with the Rocksongs you better warn the neighbors to head out before you crank it !
But your Chips motorbike would be louder than your amp wouldn't it ?
