So front and sides are more orange-y and the back is more crimson-y. I'd personally be tempted just to roll with it. I think both colours look cool.

You could try to match the front to the back (easier to go darker)...but I would leave it as it...it's gorgeous...the front doesn't have to match the back...

Yeah I think darker is the go, I will try some more coats, I prefer the back colour. After doing my headstock with the intensifying coat, it is the same Crimson sort of colour as they're from the same batch/time of production. so perhaps that will help tie it together. I'm just pedantic haha

There will be slight variations from time to time...
As I am using natural ochres there will be some variation between batches...

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

Totally all good DB! I understand that there will be variances from different batches
I'll try my best to blend them

I was going to leave everything stock for this build. As time moved forward and after some forum reading, I read a lot of people were getting roller bridges for the bigsby style bridge/trem. So I have just purchased a Vanson roller bridge from the UK. It's black with chrome wheels, and will fit perfectly onto my current chrome posts, so it's gunna give just a little bit of character. I'm excited, but have to wait for it to arrive, gives me time to crack on with the finish. I still think I have a bout a months worth of finishing to do with the staining process on the body. I am almost happy with the base colour so will soon move onto the intensifying coats

It depends how you use the bigsby. If you use it at the end of a song for a grand finish, and then tune up, it wont be a problem.
But if you cut your teeth on Wigsby or Floyd Rose gear, and use it every second bar, you are on a steep learning curve about how bigsbys work.

I just love the long smooth trem you can get out of them. I've used one on an LP before and an electromatic. Gorgeous piece of hardware! Though this is the first time owning one may upgrade to a proper bigsby one day

Loving the burst that I got and have matched the colours as well as possible. I'm happy with the result

    Noice

Now would be a good time to steel wool the bindings, much easier to clean now than after it has fully cured.
