Im looking at doing a scratch build and could use some advice on wood.
Do i go solid body or 2/3 piece?
I want to try binding what thickness of wood do i need for that?
Where can i get this wood from?
those types of questions any advice would be welcome

There are a few places for body blanks.
Real Tone or Guitar Australia are good for 2-3 piece blanks and other stuff.
The blanks are usually 45-50mm thick.
Generally speaking, two piece blanks are more stable than one piece unless you are able to get a chunk of quarter cut tree.
There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

Pindari Dingo doesn't do belly rubs.... Like a cat, belly rubs can result in loss of arms..
