Thanks for the welcome guys.
I don't know if anybody has visited the Kinman pick-up site recently, but he has recently started a new NONE noise cancelling line of pick-ups called WARRIORS....hence me thinking these are what PitBull are offering as options with the kit's.
[Seeing he is very protective of his patent's and naming rights etc, rightly so...if you know how much it cost's to file a Patent....I'm surprised if Warriors, if not Kinman made, would be allowed to still be called Warriors if Greg got wind of this...just a heads up]

Regarding necks, I don't mind a chunky neck...easier to taper to choice, than to have a skinny neck you can't do anything with due to lack of wood.

As for what would be my first build....mmmm......I was thinking either a ES3 or ES1, but either or both fitted with Kinman HXP90's.[Humbuckers are just Gibsons unsuccessful attempt to cure the Hum from a P90]

What concerns be with the proposed build is the difference in wood used as a centre block in the ES 1, Basswood, being a low density wood, used as a centre core, [Gibson use a Maple block for the same]....possible excessive Feedback [in comparison] is a concern.
I've already planned to insert some brass discs into the centre block to deaden the feedback frequencies if proves to be a problem....I don't know as yet, so I guess I'll find out when testing against my ES347, which takes ear shattering levels to feedback, but also weighs a ton.

I would also like to build a Bass..... I was originally looking at purchasing a Fender Areodyne Bass, which seems to me combines both Precision and Jazz bass attributes.
Not being a Bass player, a question to those that are, what PitBull kit is recommended I get that I could do similar with?

One question in general.
I've looked at the builds people have done.....Have some kits been & gone? [no longer available]
