every TL kit I've seen Stan have had the same oversized neck pup cavity so I'd say it's a bad design.Originally Posted by stan
I even noticed on my 4D mate Wayne is building a SG-2. Its a bolt on neck and a larger pickguard than a SG-1 or SG-1F.
That has the same oversized neck pup cavity so you have to use the pickguard
