Thanks mate :-) Hopefully it will shine up a whole lot more once it's been wet sanded and buffed

Really loving this build dude. She's gonna look amazing with the shine brought up. If you are impatient for the curing to finish, you could get an IR lamp to help it along. I got a jumbuck outdoor heater from bunnings - best $60 I ever, ever spent. But that's just me - a completely impatient bastard. These days I hit the body with the IR after every coat and then with a few longer IR sessions once the last coat has gone on. A couple of days after the last coat and she's ready to polish. Word on the grapevine is that even DB has one of these greed shed miracles at his place :P :P .
cheers,
Gav.

Haha cheers for the info Gav, may have to look into getting one of those. It's still bloody cold in Melbourne so I had thought about just putting it in front of the heater in the living room whilst we have it on anyway. Thought the fumes might be a bit toxic though...
I ordered a notched straight edge from pablopepper recently. It arrived the other day and I couldn't be happier with the quality! I've already taken apart my strat and used the straight edge to help with a proper set up, which worked really well. Just about to give my tele a proper set up too while I wait for the acrylic clear to cure.
Pabs was also kind enough to chuck in a couple of picks he made, which I'm really impressed with. They're super thick, which I don't normally go for but the contoured edges make them really nice to play with. I haven't used any other picks since he sent these ones!
Can't recommend this highly enough!
Some more..
Hi Tim,
I'm the same love my fret ruler and the picks really give a good bity sound

cool, how much are the pabs straight edges? i could do with one of those
Super reasonably priced Ben. Best to give Pabs a PM to check, not sure if pricing varies depending on what scale lengths you need. You won't be disappointed!
Well pablopepper has done it again! I ordered a set of tele router templates to help enlarge the pickup cavity in my current build (and bring me one step closer to a scratch build) and they arrived a mere 3 days later. I've left the brown paper on them so they show up in the photo but they're the same high quality plastic as the straight edge I got recently. Will make some templates from mdf using the plastic one's as master templates (as pablo suggested) and post pics of my progress.
