    Hi Bruce I would be surprised if the wipe on poly would be compatible. I'd at least do a test run on scrap wood. I'd recommend you spray the dupli colour onto some scrap wood in preparation of a test run.
    So is the colour coat automotive dupli colour rattle can ? I've had trouble with clear coats over that paint

    That's exactly what I was going to do.
    I ended up getting the Feast Watson wipe on ploy, I've got a door to do as well so even if it doesn't like the top coat it's not wasted.

    I've tested the Feast Watson wipe on and so far so good.
    Note to self and other animal lovers, keep yours shedding husky away from where your painting!

    F#%}k f~<>k fu€¥ back to the start with the colour .
    Sanded to far again on the clear.
    But that's alright I'm still waiting for the Barden bridge.
    Back to the inter-Google tube for more hints on laying on the clear.

    Hoorayyyyyyy back to adding the clear coat.
    The finish for colour isn't quite what I would have hoped but I want I get on with the build.
    I'm still waiting for the Joe Barden bridge, apparently the suppliers are out of stock.

    Our Alpine Dingo has a triple coat... Talk about hair city when he moults.
    It gets EVERYWHERE......

    There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....
