    Aloha Shazz, great kit choice! I just completed my first ever build also. My advice is to read thru the build journals for the Gr1-sf, after those you should get a good overview of what's involved, also WierdBits posted a really cool page on wiring options that you could see as well. you will learn a ton and get huge satisfaction playing your own guitar!

    good stuff Shazz, I like the video diaries are a cool way to show the build process. Your video editing is very cool too with a backing track. You seem to know the process well, is this your first build ?

    Hey Wokka, thanks! I just used iMovie on my iPad to create the videos. The backing tracks are just samples that are in the app.
    Yes this is my first build, I've done a fair bit of reading to work out where I should start and what I need to do. Love this forum! It has become my new facebook... (more time here lately then FB)

    Loving these vids, Shazz, keep it up! One thing though, in the dry fit vid, you've attached the machine heads upside down.
