great work thread jacking squad, but i wanna see some more hot quilted tele action!
Well the ol' thread's definitely progressed the last couple of days:P... anyway back to some guitar related stuff.
I'd picked up an assorted pack of "Micro Mesh" off Ebay a while back after reading about it in a Stew Mac brochure. I'm not sure if many other people on here are using it but this was my first experience.
What an absolutely wicked product for finishing. I just cut into 35mm squares and used just like wet and dry paper only this stuff will last me for years
If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it for cutting back a finish.

So starting at 400-1200 wet and dry paper then moving onto the Micro Mesh working my way up to 12,000 this is what I ended up with. This is just fine sanded and wiped with a dry towel, no polish of any sort yet. Should get a real nice luster once I hit it with some Maguires.
that micro mesh looks the biz Barge, thanks for the tups bro, might order a set. Up to 12000 grut now thats super fine
What can I say Barge, you seem to attract thread jackers in your threads !
wow that shine is wucked Barge and still no polish !
good work bruh
