    haha no worries Ruben, invest in a chain saw, cut some trees down and let them cure/dry out for a few years you never know.

    I reckon DB wishes Mosrites were built with English willow as they make such a good cricket bat according to him

    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Does anybody else get impatient building guitars or is it just me?!?!?!?!? I want to get to the next coat but I cant!! AARRRRRR! Might have to take me and my guitar up to cairns for a day or two in the sun :P

    hahha Ruben it is frustrating waiting.That's why some of us have multiple builds on the go.

    You could look at a fret level on the neck but you will need some tools for that

    Ok...so a little bit of progress. Got my first intensifier coat on last night. Hasn't changed the colour as much as I wanted it to but its only light coats so hopefully as I do more it will.

    Hey Ruben,
    the colour may darken a bit more with time as the oils cure. More coats and it will darken a little more.
