Did a bit more refining with the top today, it's about as close as I can get it in it's current state. Once I lay down some stain I'm sure I'll pick up more that needs doing but all in all it's looking nice.
Sealed the top up ready for final sand. The sealer really highlights the unusual quilt, it actually runs diagonal to the grain which is kinda crazy.
wow looks nice Barge, the pics on the left the archtop is a bit more obvious. Weird looking grain alright toward the bottom of the body.
Looks like the BAWS has cranked up once again

Yeah. I really want to get looking like the LP in the top pic, a midnight blue/black burst kind of thing. Actually achieving it will be a whole other prospect:P
Then natural back and sides/neck. I love the idea of, ">insert colour here< top" type guitars.
