Hi DK, sounds similar to Barge's previous ST build, I think the bridge cavity is too far south hence the 335mm measurement.
Is the bridge butting up to the pickguard and the pickguard is right up against the neck heel ?
If thats the case then the neck heel could be a bit too long, maybe it had the length of a 22 fret neck but only 21 were installed.
Thats what I would do shorten the neck heel a bit. Hopefully you haven't already pre-drilled the neck screw holes like Barge did which made it hard to shorten the heel and shift it back a few mm.
    Good luck !

It's kinda weird because it all measures up close enough to identical to the F type guitars I have for it to be of no consequence so I am bewildered.

As per the pic below it is now fully assembled and I'm waiting for the neck to settle in before I try to do any setup and will make decisions from there.

If I do have to move the neck I'll simply epoxy up the holes and maybe go up a screw gauge so that it's not compromised.

thats a mystery Dave, so in its current setup what's the distance 12th fret to the low E string ?
I'll look at my ST necks to see if the gap between 21st fret and heel end is the same.
I plugged in the Stewmac fret calculator a scale length of 646mm (double 323mm) and it says 21st fret should be 454mm from the nut so maybe check that.
Very sexy looking axe by the way, I'm a big fan of yellow and black hardware

Just had a bit of a play with the steel rule and have the E1 at 646 nut to bridge and the E6 at 652

The E1 is max'd out unless I replace the bridge screws with a flat head countersunk instead of the domed heads and then I can get another couple of mm so I reckon I'll be fine.

There's a 1mm gap between the scratch plate and the bridge so there is plenty of trem movement.

Maybe I was just having a senior moment when I ran the measuring stick over it the other day.

It's got a really nice weight and feel to it so I can't wait to do a full setup and have a play.
