Plus, that guitar didn't even get finished, so it had the potential to go way longer. I'm not out to set records.Mind you 500 odd views and 50 something posts and I only started this thread a couple of days ago...

yeah thats it Pabs, been a while since you had a build diary so shows everyone is interested in the EX build.
I reckon that basswood has some pretty cool grain. So was this a non PBG kit ?
don't forget the copper shielding before you re-glue the neck bwhahahahha
You are just over 400 posts away from Overlord status too !

I've already got it out. Had to use a chisel. Nah, this is a legit PBG kit (dude was pretty unhappy about it), would have put it in the non-PBG section otherwise. Don't know if it'll be eligible for gotm though, as I was not the first owner. Long way off worrying about that yet.

looks like its the Woks and Pablo show ! last 7 posts ! wonder who the common denominator is hahha
Sure it will be eligible to enter GOTM as its basically a full rebuild.
I have seen some stunning basswood grain but its rare. Sure this will look very nice in red wine and black pickguard.
I'd route out your switch cavity before you start sanding
