Time for a bit of an update, colour coats have been applied and sanded and 5 coats of clear which will now be allowed to sit of a week or so before flatting off and polishing and then adding the kit which will be all black.

Last coat of clear was yesterday so because of the impending rain in Sydney I dragged it down from the shed and hung it in the rumpus room to escape any additional humidity.

My daughter was given a budgie about 15 years ago that she left with us when she got married and it sleeps ( slept ) in the rumpus room, today I went to get it to hang out on the balcony and the poor little bugger was leg up on the bottom of the cage.

I'm sure it was old age because he was old and doddery but the bright yellow STA body hanging from the exposed beam in the rumpus room may have looked like bloody great bird of prey and caused him too much stress, whatever we are now pet free at the moment so we may even get to do a few things together ( don't know how SWMBO will feel about that )

    Anyhow here's a current pic

Thanks Wok, given the the dog was 18 years and 8 months ( around 95 human years ) and the budgie about 15 which must be a heap of human years I'm worried.

I'm the now the oldest in the house, panic time

As for the yellow and black, it will be a bit Ibanez I guess but being a grumpy old git I don't care

no need to panic Dave the trend in your household is long innings !

Have you ordered the black hardware yet ? Keen to see how it looks.

I got a few marine panel gauges around like oil pressure and temperature I'm keen to sink them into a body go a dashboard sort of theme axe !
