Yeah, I'm surprised how well it came out! Maybe because I'm not rushing it this time... or it could be the paint... who knows?!

I was thinking something similar, maybe a 59 or a JB in the bridge, but that's as far as I got. Even a P90 would be pretty sweet.
I've never had a guitar with single coils before this one, so I don't know much about them, so cheers for the suggestion. I'll look into that one, as I've heard good things here and there about them (so they must be good!).

The middle pickup is the one that has me stumped. I really like blending the bridge and the middle, so I definitely need to get something... guess I'll have to do some research on my favourite bands and see what they use for it!

When I had a guitar with a middle pickup I only used really ever used it in combination with the neck or bridge pickup. You should probably just go for a standard Strat middle pickup. Maybe on of the Tonerider ones. Remember if you want the Strat "out of phase" sounds when using the middle pickup a bridge of neck humbucker will need to be split.

Yeah I was looking into the tonerider ones. They seem to be good value for money, and I don't have the $$ to be buying anything too expensive. I use the neck and bridge more so I'll probably be putting the money into those.
