    Looks amazing Nick - a really beautiful shredder. What's on the neck and headstock? That isn't just the natural wood colour is it? Looks quite white. I really love the look!

    cheers,
    Gav.

    @pabs Cheers mate. Sounds better than I thought for stock pups. They're a bit muddy and on the lower side for output but for the price it's just killer. Compensation on the amp makes up for it easily. The neck pup is very sweet though. I'll be replacing the bridge with a bareknuckle or SD later down the track (money providing...)

    Hey Gav, yeah this is literally just the wood colour and a bit of dingo wax on the back of the neck.. nothing else. The lighting in these photos is very neutral. They look pretty much exactly the same as the guitar looks in real life.

    @everyone

    Thank you all very much. Extremely happy with the fit/finish and set up on this. Definitely my most successful build so far!

    Here's the final overview:

    Model: IB7 (custom order with quilt top and no fretmarkers)
    U-Beaut water based dyes (aquamarine for top, cedar/yellow/red mix for back/sides)
    No stain on neck - just dingowax on the back of the neck
    Satin nitro (sorry DB) clear
    Faux binding
    Custom pickup rings/truss cover from random flamed off-cut + tru oil
    Stock hardware
